He explained.

This is because “the Pretoria Agreement was not fully implemented; The union explained that it was caused by the non-payment of salaries of government employees, the denial of pensions to pensioners, the inability of institutions to provide social and economic services, etc.

“According to the Pretoria agreement, at least in many areas of Tigray, there was no fighting and no gunshots were heard; However, the constitutional state of Tigray is under the control of Eritrean invading forces and Amhara militants, who were not supposed to live in Tigray according to the agreement, so the oppression and misery in those places is a matter known to the people of the world. The association announced that due to the non-implementation of the Pretoria Agreement, millions of citizens have been displaced from their villages for the same reason and have been subjected to various cases of abuse.

He stated that even in places and areas where the sound of bullets is not heard, the carnage, hunger, and poverty have not stopped yet. Therefore, considering the main objective of the agreement, the agreement should be fully implemented so that the displaced citizens return to their homes, the government employees should be paid their unpaid salaries, benefits, and compensation, and all the payments they are due in Tigray should be paid without any cuts.
